Post dirty pool
We have been swimming several times this past week and have noticed that the pool its filthy.
The water smells like Chlorine (BIG TIME), and at the bottom of the pool has lots of debris.
I have two girls which use goggles, water seeped in and made their eyes burn to the point where they couldn't open them.
How often is the pool cleaned?
Also Last week I saw a blue dodge truck appearing to be the pool cleaner guy, he went in to the
pool for like 5minutes and then he took off, I don't know if he was checking on
Something or if he just pretend to be cleaning the pool.
If by just going in and out the pool means cleaning it, then some body is banking on us.
Please respond promptly.....
Thanks a lot........

Thanks for the notification.

We do not currently have anyone on the pool committee unfortunately (you are welcomed to fill the position), but we do have a service that is contracted to provide routine maintenance and servicing.

There may have been a recent routine "shocking" of the pool that may account for chlorine smell.....I'll check into it to ensure there isn't an health issue involved. I'll personally will stop by the pool and take a look and the condition of the pool and immediate area.

Thanks for responding..
But Still didn't answer my q?
How often is the pool cleaned?
Once a month, once a year........
Also just out of curiosity......
What is the duty of the pool security guys?
Is it just to see who goes in and out of the pool? Or do they supposed to advice
The so called HOA employees. When the pool needs to be serviced.
Thanx....

Motogp, I can't answer all of that, but the pool monitors monitor who gets into the pool, enforces the rules, makes sure the pool closes on time, and closes the pool in problem times, like when lightning appears. If they notice an issue they contact the management company, and the manager gets in touch with the pool guy or porter service, depending on the issue.

Hope this helps.

MOTO,

I can answer this question easily for but it's up to you to understand the answer.

A: It's about as hard for us to answer your question, as it is about as hard for you to be courteous and patient while we get the information for you.

I followed up as I mentioned I would to you and have been in discussion with the BOD about my findings the other day when I inspected the pool area after work. It's all about timing. In order to verify your claims of the conditions, which I am not doubting, I need to time it to the period of the day for when this is occurring or I am left with a completely different perspective. When I inspected the area, I found very little of concern. The pool WAS NOT cloudy, there was NO strong chlorine smell, and there was practically NO debris at the bottom of the pool. That is not to say it doesn't occur when there is a lot of activity or when servicing is done IN THE MORNING HOURS (according to my immediate sources).

There are times when the pool will have a lot of people there and it will get messy. CMA is our liaison to the company hired to service the pool. We have to go through them to retrieve the information for you. That means from question to answer, it may pass through MANY hands.....both ways.

I often have fairly good experiences at the pool (and i am a very picky person), but that may be because I don't go when everyone in the neighborhood wants to go or when neighborhood's teenagers get bored. Find the times that better fit you and you will have a much better experience. In the mean time, when I get the specific info, I will post it for you and everyone else that is interested.

Post Re: dirty pool
we go several times a week since it has been open and so far it has been crystal clear..
I do however think we are wasting our money on the girl who sits by the gate.. she stays on the phone all day and the computer (i know this is a boring job) BUT someone comes up to the gate she just hits the exit button and they just walk in... If you do not have a key, no entry.. if it just happened once maybe I would over look it but it happens every day we go there. Also don't know how safe it is for her to leave the laptops (yes 2) while she leaves for 30-45 minutes.. Another family was talking about how she just leaves them there.
