2010 Assessments and Incentives

Residents,

By now, you should have received your 2010 Assessment Notice in the mail. The 2010 Assessments are $330 and are due by January 10, 2010. On January 11, 2010, late penalties are added to your account, so its important to give yourself plenty of time if you are sending a check or using an electronic Bill Pay service through your bank. I would recommend at least 2 weeks for processing time, so it would be a good idea to get your payment out by the end of December. If you have not received your 2010 Assessments, please contact our Association Manager, Alison Decarlucci at 972-943-2852.

This year, CMA is helping us even more to get our assessments paid on time by offering a couple of incentives.

First, CMA is sponsoring a drawing for three iPod Nanos among those owners who pay on time and online. Simply by visiting the CMA web site to pay your dues, you can become eligible for a drawing to win one of those popular video/MP3 gadgets. An insert has been included in your Assessment mailing with more information. The insert also encourages you to pay by e-check, a convenient online option, which is free of charge.

And finally, CMA has secured a more equitable fee schedule with their credit card processing vendor. Effective December 1, 2009, the processor will no longer charge a flat fee of $20 per transaction. Instead, they will charge 3.5% of the amount charged. So if you choose to pay your assessment of $330, you will incur a charge of $11.55, so the total would be $341.55. This is a great benefit to those who need to pay by credit card. Remember, none of this fee is paid to CMA.
